MicrOVis: Heating Microscope

MicrOVis: Heating Microscope

The MicrOVis heating microscope allows for computerized analysis of frits and ceramic glazes during thermal cycles.
Thanks to electronic image processing, it is possible to automatically detect features such as: Sintering, Rounding, Sphere, Half Sphere, and Melting.

Metrology laboratory for the measurement of temperature, relative humidity and pressure accredited by ACCREDIA as calibration center 00170 Calibration

Recipe Book

A spacious recipe book allows you to insert and recall the most frequently used thermal cycles.

Each thermal cycle can consist of two ramps with a maximum gradient of 80°C/min and two temperature holds freely adjustable.

Automatic analysis

The software can analyze the specimen geometry in real-time and automatically identify the states of:

  • Sintering
  • Rounding
  • Sphere
  • Half Sphere
  • Melting

At each state change, MicrOVis automatically records the temperature and the corresponding frame, providing proof of the transition.

Graphs

At any moment during the test, it is possible to view the graphs of:

  • Height
  • Width
  • Contact angle
  • Temperature

Comparison

The comparison between tests performed at different times can be done using two different methods:

  • frame animation
  • graph overlay
